SDSU | Delta Eta Chapter

Hello and welcome to the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority at San Diego State University!

My name is Kate Smyrniotis, and it has been such an honor and privilege to serve as chapter president for the Delta Eta chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta.

​

When I joined Alpha Gam as a new member, I never would have believed that two years later I would stand before my sisters as the chapter president for 2024. This chapter has provided me with lifelong friendships, leadership opportunities, love, and so much more than I could ever imagine.

​

Joining Alpha Gamma Delta has easily been the best decision of my collegiate years. Alpha Gam helps all of its members find their purpose throughout college and after their four collegiate years in the chapter. Alpha Gamma Delta teaches its core values of authenticity, engagement, participation in fun aspects of the sorority's social activities, while also providing academic support and philanthropic avenues. There is an endless list of reasons to join Alpha Gam, but the strongest reason by far is the bonds you make through our sisterhood. Our sisterhood is marked by lifelong connections, networking opportunities, endless laughter, and a true form of friendship only some are so lucky to find.

Alpha Gamma Delta has helped me find my place at San Diego State. I am constantly inspired by my sisters and all that they have accomplished. My college experience would not be the same without the love, friendship, and guidance from these incredible young women.
